From 7 pm June 6 to 7 pm June 7, Telespond is participating in NEPA Gives 2024, a 24-hour giving extravaganza. All donations made through NEPA Gives will support our service lines: on-site adult day services, in-home personal care services, senior companion program, foster grandparent program, and older adult advocacy center. Please consider giving to support these life-enriching programs for older adults and their families!
Many individuals and their families are confronted with the costly and difficult choice of institutionalizing a loved one in a nursing home or retirement facility but often face financial and emotional constraints.
Telespond Senior Services functions as a cost-effective alternative to these difficult choices as we allow much-needed respite to caregivers so that the elderly population can remain living in the comfort of their homes, surrounded by their loved ones for longer periods of time.
But we need your help.
Now more than ever the senior population needs our support. Various opportunities for giving include donating needed items, providing in-kind services, volunteering and making a direct financial contribution to our organization.
Here is how your financial contribution makes a direct impact:
| $25 | One companion visit to the home of an isolated senior | |
| $49 | ½ day of on-site adult day care our center | |
| $75 | Transportation, a shower and full day of on-site adult day care | |
| $100 | One week of companion service for an isolated senior | |
| $320 | Provides a homebound senior with 2 hours per day of Personal Care for 7 days | |
| $1300 | Provides a Veteran with 20 days of on-site day care, all meals and services | |
Together we can give our area’s most vulnerable the tools they need to achieve greater independence and age with dignity.
