Our goal is to help our region’s aging population to “age in place” and remain in their homes, living independently when it is possible and safe to do so. Telespond Senior Services provides non-medical in-home care services to help older adults maintain a safe and clean home-based environment, as well as provide caregiver support and respite. Our Personal Care Attendants provide assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and will also handle homemaking duties such as laundry and/or meal preparation. All of our employees have successfully completed a criminal record background and history check.
Telespond Senior Services’ In-Home Personal Care Team provides a helping hand to residents of Luzerne and Lackawanna counties by:
- Being with your loved one in your absence either in their home or at Long Term Care facility
- Assisting a loved one with daily living activities such as:
- Bathing and toileting
- Shopping
- Grooming and dressing
- Preparing light meals
- Light cleaning and chores
- Medication reminders
- Providing caregivers with a break from caregiving responsibilities
